Subtopic: People to avoid in order to achieve Lasting Impact

If you want to make lasting impact, there are some people you need to avoid.

(1 Corinthians 15:33)

People you must avoid to achieve Lasting Impact:

#1. Doubters

Numbers 13:31-33

The voice of doubt neutralises effort.

The voice of doubt is a killer of ambition

Doubters are faith-killers. They sound logical but they will always talk you down.

#2. People who leak secrets

Where there is no secrecy, certain goals will not arrive at maturity.

The absence of secrets brings about avoidable battles.

Run from anybody who leaks secrets.

They will expose you because of careless talk.

Destiny leaks when secrets leak.

If you must go far in life, not everybody must access your inner room (your plans and the agenda you have)

Proverbs 11:13 (Compare KJV, NIV, NLT, MSG versions)

#3. People who have no relationship with God (people who lack spirituality)

James 1:8

It takes the backing of God to see your plans to see daylight.

These people because they don't have a relationship with God.

The scripture teaches us to love everyone, but not to follow everyone.

Love your neighbour as yourself but don't follow every neighbour.

#4. People who drain you (destiny-drainers)

These are people who take from you emotionally, spiritually, financially but they never add to you.

If you are not being replenished, you become dry over time.

Note: This year don't carry family load for any family member who is not ready to stand up and do something for themselves.

You aren't their God. Do what you can do to help, and don't stress yourself.

God will never bless you when you are helping an idle person.

God wants you to help people who will become a helper tomorrow.

Don't finance iniquity.

Prayer Points (Part 1):

*Hold a flag of your nation and pray them!

1. Oh God my Father separate me from relationships that weaken my impact!

2. Oh Lord my Father keep me away from destiny-wasters! Let my life not carry people that will waste it!

3. In the name of Jesus Christ any power from my father’s house, any power from my mother’s house that is against me making impact in life, die by fire!

Every nation has an altar that influences systems, laws and people.

So people must take charge of the nation where they are.

(Jeremiah 29:7)

For example:

America has several altars, but the main one is the altar of bloodshed. (responsible for school shootings, mall shootings, etc)

Trinidad and the Caribbean - the altar makes women carry all the responsibility, and it makes the men in the household useless. (responsible for widespread single parent homes where the women are responsible)

Netherlands - there is a marine altar which causes people to be there for a long time and they leave with nothing.

Canada - there is a major altar characterised by suicide.

Cameroon & Côte d'Ivoire - the major altar is drinking

Finland - the altar causes people to face economic stagnation

Ghana - the altar is characterised by men allowing women to be in charge, and the men staying at the background.

Nigeria - The major altar is Mammon (peple can do everything for money, and people don't respect you if you don't have money)

In a lot of the Western countries, there are altars of strange sickness.

Prayer Points (Part 2):

4. In the name of Jesus I will NOT be a victim of the problems of <your country>

5. Oh nation of <your country> you will NOT swallow me! You will NOT subdue my glory! You will NOT kill my star. You will NOT bury my light!

6. Thou nation of <your country>, hear the voice of the Lord.

   You will NOT limit me this year. Whatever limits people in this nation, you will NOT limit me this year!

7. By the power of the Holy Ghost thou nation of <your country>

   you will favour me and NOT fight me! You will favour me, you will NOT fight me!
